Baseball has just announced it's five new captians for the 2009 season! Congratulations too....Seniors Alejandro Balsinde, Billy Cather, Kevin McAvoy and Danny Menendez along with junior Myckie Lugbauer.
Also, earlier this year, 12 baseball bears were recognized with Maine Scholar Athlete awards and as **Rising Stars**; Alejandro Balsinde, Billy Cather, Joey Martin and Danny Menendez all received a silver medal as a two-time honoree. Jonathan Balentina, Kevin McAvoy and Carson Pillar received a bronze medal as they were honored for the first time. AJ Bazdanes, Keith Bilodeau, Jesse Hamilton, Taylor Lewis and George Tager were named "Rising Star*.
